Get to know us
The Advocates Canvas' was born from the belief that art is one of the most powerful tools for social change. In a time of deep political and social challenges, we seek to turn creative expression into activism, ensuring that the voices of those most affected by injustice are not just heard, but centered.
Our work is rooted in community collaboration—bringing together artists, activists, writers, and advocates to tell the stories that need to be told. We highlight local organizations, policy changes, and grassroots efforts, focusing on Florida while recognizing the broader national and global struggles for equity.
Whether you're an artist, a storyteller, or an ally, there's a place for you in this fight. Let’s create, advocate, and uplift—together.
Our mission
Our mission is to harness the power of art and advocacy to uplift and support Black, Brown, disabled, and LGBTQIA2S+ communities. Through creative expression, collective action, and community-driven initiatives, we strive to amplify voices that are often unheard, provide resources to those in need, and drive meaningful systemic change. By engaging artists, activists, and allies, we work to create a more just and equitable world where every person—regardless of race, gender identity, disability, or immigration status—has the opportunity to thrive.
Our vision
We envision a world where art and advocacy come together to drive meaningful, lasting change. A world where marginalized voices are not only heard but uplifted, where every story holds power, and where everyone has access to the resources they need. Through collective action, creative expression, and deep community engagement, we are committed to building a future rooted in equity, dignity, and opportunity for all.
